Sonoma County Winegrape Commission Pruning Championship

Friday, February 29 10 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The critical beginning of the 2008 vintage begins with pruning the vines. The best pruners in the county, who have already won regional contests, will compete to determine the Sonoma County champion at this 9th annual event. The fun and spirited sports-like contest will be followed by a fiesta-style lunch. Come spend time in our beautiful vineyards, and see what skill goes into pruning our great grapevines for this year’s vintage.
